Appointment Cancellation Policy

A 50% deposit is required to secure all appointments. Deposits are non-refundable.

Appointments may be rescheduled or amended up to 48 hours prior to the appointment time, and the deposit can be transferred to the new booking.

If an appointment is cancelled within 48 hours, or in the event of a no-show, the 50% deposit will be retained.

Clients arriving significantly late may need to have their appointment shortened or rescheduled, and cancellation charges may still apply.

Patch Testing Policy

Patch tests are required for the following services:

  • Hair colouring services

  • Tinting treatments

  • Lash extensions

  • Lash lifts

  • Brow lamination

Patch tests must be completed at least 24–48 hours prior to the appointment.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure a valid patch test has been completed before their appointment. Failure to attend or complete a required patch test will result in the loss of the 50% booking deposit.

If a client experiences any reaction following a patch test or treatment, they must notify Holmes of Beauty immediately. Failure to inform us promptly may result in additional charges for missed appointments or corrective work.

Trainee, Junior & Apprentice Appointments

Treatments carried out by trainees, juniors, or apprentices are offered at a reduced rate to reflect experience level and training status.

As these team members are still developing their skills under supervision, appointments completed by trainees, juniors, or apprentices are not eligible for complimentary corrections or redo appointments.

Refund Policy (Services)

Holmes of Beauty does not offer refunds on completed services under any circumstances.

If you are unhappy with your treatment, please contact us within 48 hours so we can review and discuss the matter appropriately.

  • Applies to selected full-priced services only

  • Cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, offer, package, or discount

  • Is valid for one-time use per client

Returns Policy

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, customers have the right to withdraw from their online purchase within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging

  • Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery

  • Proof of purchase must be provided

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened or used skincare, cosmetics, or beauty products unless faulty.

Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Shipping Policy

Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–3 working days.

Delivery times may vary depending on the shipping provider and location.

Holmes of Beauty is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, postal strikes, or circumstances outside of our control.
