What is a Hydrafacial?

Hydrafacial is a non-invasive treatment that improves skin health, addresses individual concerns, and creates a glow like no other. Unlike traditional facials, it’s performed via device rather than by hand, for deeper penetration and longer lasting results.

The magic of a Hydrafacial is in the wand, which works like a vacuum to open pores for a deep cleanse and easy extraction of impurities. It also allows the active ingredients in our boosters to penetrate deeper, for a more effective treatment.

Every Hydrafacial consists of these three simple steps–but offers endless ways to personalise based on your skin goals.

  • Deeply cleanses and exfoliates with a gentle peel to uncover a new layer of skin

  • Removes impurities from pores with painless gentle suction.

  • Saturates the skin’s surface with intense moisturisers and nourishing, personalised ingredients.

Each Hydrafacial treatment can be personalised to treat specific skin concerns, such as: pigmentation, oily and congested skin, fine lines and wrinkles, pore size and hydration/dry skin.

Frequently asked questions on Hydrafacials

  • While hydrafacial is incredibly popular all year round, it is especially sought-after over the summer months. After all, its ability to offer bright, clear skin attracts many people who are attending special events and social occasions, such as weddings, as they want to look their best.

Who can blame them? This treatment is a medical-grade facial that combines cleansing, pore extraction and lymphatic drainage massage techniques to ensure your skin is purified. Also, by applying active-ingredient-fueled serums immediately after, your skin will look as good as it feels.

  • This treatment will improve your skin tone and texture and, by opting for several sessions, you may also see a big improvement on acne and acne scarring, as well as enlarged pores, sun spots and age marks.

  • Hydrafacial combines many different processes in one treatment, including hydration. Hydrated skin is crucial for healthy and radiant skin, not to mention youthful-looking. And, while other procedures may irritate your skin, hydrafacial does not, always ensuring the best results.

  • The hydrafacial treatment will help to clear acneic skin. The multi-step approach of the procedure is customised to your skin and seeks to restore its health and reduce the appearance of spots. By encouraging the natural drainage of the lymph, exfoliating the skin and deep cleansing it, we are reducing the production of sebum, reducing bacteria and removing dead skin cells, blackheads and other impurities.

  • Some procedures are best suited for specific skin types, but hydrafacial is great for everyone. No matter whether you have dry or oily skin, or even sensitive skin, the treatment is personalized for each person, so you can be assured that we will select the right serums for your skin type.

  • One session is usually enough to see results. However, if you’d like to continue improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and oily and congested skin, one treatment per month can be the right solution for you. By regularly getting a hydrafacial, you can maintain glowing, radiant skin.

  • You can rest assured that this treatment is comfortable and, apart from a slight pinkness to your skin for 24 hours, you will have no downtime at all. Also, you’re free to return to your usual activities immediately, so no need for recovery whatsoever.

  • While it is not necessarily out of the question or dangerous to reapply make up right after a hydrafacial, patients are advised to wait until the next day if possible. This allows the skin the maximum amount of time possible to absorb the antioxidant-rich and nourishing serums. When make up is reapplied, patients should attempt to use natural, non-comedogenic products to avoid clogging their pores. Clean make up brushes and sponges can also help minimise bacteria and other debris that can compromise the results of your treatments.
